Claudio Ranieri has spoken of his difficult time with Inter Milan.
The former Chelsea manager insists he was blocked from making major signings, including current Juventus star Carlos Tevez.
"I only talk about this for the absurdities in the media at this time. Anyone who works with me knows that I wanted to Tevez at Inter and I tried to take him to Monaco," Ranieri told Calciomercato.com.
"I do not like to talk about past experiences, but with me on the bench, Inter could not buy players.
"We did not buy anyone and sold as wonderful a player as Thiago Motta."
Ranieri had a year in charge at the Nerazzurri.
