Claudio Ranieri has agreed a new long-term contract with Leicester City.
The Italian tactician is set to be rewarded by the East Midlands club after guiding them to a remarkable Premier League title triumph last season.
Sky Sports reports that the legal formalities for Ranieri's new deal are set to be complete before this weekend's season opener against Hull City.
The 64-year-old penned a three-year contract when he replaced Nigel Pearson at King Power Stadium last summer before leading the Foxes to glory in his debut campaign.
It is understood that Ranieri's new deal will not include a compensation clause if he happens to depart for another club at some point.
