Rangers wingback Steven Whittaker says there is no crisis at the club despite news that they could up for more than £15million.
Papers leaked from former chief executive Martin Bain's lawyers suggest that the club could be in terrible financial trouble if Her Majesty's Revenue and Customs (HMRC) pursue the club for the aforementioned owed amount.
But Whittaker says the club has heard it all before and it is simply up to the players to continue producing the results on the pitch whilst calming talks of a crisis at Ibrox.
"It is not difficult to stay focused at all," he said.
"It is out of our hands. We are there to concentrate on the football and the squad and the management have done that.
"Everyone keeps talking about a crisis like it's a new thing, but it has all been happening in the past and we still managed to blank it out and win the double last season.
"It will be no different this season. No matter what goes on behind the scenes, first and foremost we have to take care of things on the pitch."
