Rangers great Ferguson signs new Perth Glory deal

Official release from Perth Glory

Perth Glory Football Club is delighted to announced Ian Ferguson has signed a new 2-year deal to remain as coach of the club until the end of 2013/14 Hyundai A-League season.

"It's fantastic to have Ian on board for another two years," Perth Glory Chief Executive Paul Kelly said.

"Ian deserves great credit for guiding Perth Glory to our best season in the Hyundai A-League and into our first home final.

"It now gives us stability to build towards the future and have a good run at the championship."

Having coached Perth Glory to third spot in his first full season in charge, Ferguson was excited to be given the opportunity to continue his reign.

"I am delighted to get the opportunity to take the club forward for another two years, Ferguson said.

"It gives us the chance to continue to build on what we have done so far this season."

Perth Glory will start their 2012 Hyundai A-League finals series this Sunday at home against Melbourne Heart.
