QPR boss Chris Ramsey has indicated that the club may need to sell star striker Charlie Austin.
Premier League clubs such as Tottenham, Newcastle United and West Ham United remain interested in the 26-year-old who has been valued at £15million but so far, nobody has made an offer for his services.
After initially suggesting the R's would only sell if a club was meet to their asking price, Ramsey has now hinted that the West Londoners will part with their prized asset more out of necessity than principle.
"We have put a price on his head which we think is a reasonable price," said Ramsey.
"He scored 18 goals last season in a team that didn't do well so we think we have priced him reasonably in order for him to reach his ambitions.
"We need to stick to that because QPR as a club need the finances to rebuild and be able to compete in the Championship and set targets for this season and seasons beyond."
