Liverpool Under-21s managed an impressive win over West Ham United at the weekend.
The Reds' youngsters were victorious by a 3-0 margin against the Hammers.
Goals from Jake Cain, Melkamu Frauendorf and Calvin Ramsay were enough to secure a comfortable win at the Rush Green Training Ground.
Liverpool did have to rely on keeper Harvey Davies to make several important saves throughout the game.
Speaking post-match, U21s coach Barry Lewtas told Liverpoolfc.com: "It was probably our best performance of the season, if I'm going to be honest.
"The lads were superb technically, superb tactically. What we wanted to do, we were really good at it.
"But the lads' energy, work-rate was just phenomenal all the way through, even near the end when we were 3-0 up. I'm unbelievably happy."
