Raiola and Rodgers draw up Liverpool plan for Balotelli

Super agent Mino Raiola is happy to keep Mario Balotelli at Liverpool next season.

Calciomercato.com says Raiola recognises Balotelli's market value has plummeted over the past 18 months and he needs stability to rebuild his shattered reputation.

Raiola met with Reds boss Brendan Rodgers in January to assess the situation and they agreed to meet again in May to consider their options.

Liverpool would prefer to find a buyer, but at the moment would have to accept a massive loss to get the Italian off their books.

Instead, Raiola has proposed the option of Balotelli staying put for this year, fighting his way back into Rodgers' plans, with no transfer being considered until January 2016, at the earliest.
