Adrien Rabiot has revealed the encouragement of Juventus teammate Paul Pogba ahead of France's World Cup campaign.

Pogba was ruled out of the World Cup as he recovers from knee surgery.

Rabiot says Pogba sent him to Qatar with advice and support for the tournament.

"I see him on a daily basis," Rabiot said. "We talked a lot about the competition. Advice? No, not necessarily. He encouraged us and said they would follow us.

"He asked me to drive this team and this environment as I can do at Juventus."
