QPR want Crystal Palace's Campbell in exchange for Mutch

QPR will reportedly ask for Fraizer Campbell to be included in the potential deal which would see Jordon Mutch head to Crystal Palace.

The Daily Mirror suggests that Eagles manager Alan Pardew is keen on 23-year old midfielder Mutch despite the fact he has made just nine Premier League appearances this season.

The former Cardiff City young gun would fetch a transfer fee of around £5million, which Palace are reportedly not willing to pay, but they could send Campbell to Loftus Road along with a lesser sum in order to land their man.

However, varying reports have indicated that Palace have had a straight £4.75m proposal accepted by the R's without the potential Campbell swap on the cards.

Former Manchester United and Sunderland forward Campbell joined Palace from Cardiff City in July 2014 but has managed just three goals in 18 appearances and does not fit in Pardew's plans as the ex-Newcastle United boss currently has the likes of Dwight Gayle, Marouane Chamakh, Glenn Murray, Wilfried Zaha and Yaya Sanogo as his strike options.
