Pulis calls on West Brom front office to step up market work

West Bromwich Albion boss Tony Pulis has urged the club's front office to step up their market work.

The Mirror says the Baggies' new head coach held a transfer summit on Thursday with owner Jeremy Peace at the club's training ground.

Albion are chasing Blackburn's 6ft 4in targetman Rudy Gestede, and also want Manchester United midfielder Darren Fletcher and Wigan winger Callum McManaman.

Fletcher, who hasn't started in the Premier League since Christmas, is now due to hold talks with Old Trafford manager Louis van Gaal to decide his future.

Pulis is also looking for a new assistant and a goalkeeping coach after Paul Jewell's shock exit.
