Cardiff City striker Ross McCormack remains a target for Portsmouth.
The Daily Mail says Pompey will try again for Cardiff City's £5m-rated McCormack if a new bid for Nikola Kalinic, the Hajduk Split forward, fails.
Hull City boss Phil Brown is also chasing McCormack.
