Manchester United have made the decision to release defender Di'Shon Bernard.

The 22-year-old only made a single first team appearance for the Red Devils.

He made a senior outing under ex-United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer in 2019 in a Europa League tie against Astana.

Bernard also had loan spells at Salford and Hull following that appearance, but never convinced United of his quality.

He did train with the first team under Erik ten Hag, but never made a matchday squad.

According to The Portsmouth News, he could be heading to Portsmouth this summer.
