Poland coach Czeslaw Michniewicz admits Barcelona's Champions League elimination can work in their favour.

Michniewicz reports Barca striker Robert Lewandowski has been left shocked by their European failure - and is motivated to make an even biggest impact at the World Cup.

He explained, "He was very upset to have been left out of the Champions League.

"If someone doubts it - but I don't think anyone does - Lewandowski worries a lot. He calls me himself and asks me about the national team.

"He was very upset for having been left out of the Champions League and wants to make amends even more with the national team."
