Manchester United are working to find midfield targets for the January transfer window.
According to The Telegraph, manager Ralf Rangnick does want to add a midfielder to his squad, as that is where he believes the team is weakest.
However, any moves United make are influenced by the future of Frenchman Paul Pogba.
The creative midfielder is out of contract in the summer, and has not shown any inclination to renew his contract.
United are being linked to the likes of Amadou Haidara, Declan Rice, and Kalvin Phillips.
