Chelsea youngster Cesare Casadei has been recalled from his loan spell at Leicester City.

The Blues have decided to bring him back and integrate him with the first team.

Manager Mauricio Pochettino admitted he can see the player's potential, but will only be able to use him in the Premier League this term.

He stated: “In pre-season, he worked really well. Yes, we hope he can help. Tomorrow it is not possible because he played with Leicester in the Carabao Cup and FA Cup. But yes in the Premier League, maybe he can be involved."

On other recalls, he added: “We need to assess now, they have come back from their loan. They are going to be a part of our squad and then the decision will be if it's going to be every game part of the team. It's good news because we are suffering too many injuries and this is good for us."
