Playing or buying? Ex-Man Utd keeper De Gea meets with Eldense

Former Manchester United goalkeeper David de Gea is in talks with Segunda Division Eldense.

De Gea has been a free agent since coming off contract at United in June.

He has spoken with Real Betis over the past week but is now in talks with minnows Eldense, says Onda Cero.

The keeper was in Alicante last week for a meeting with the team's bosses as he sought to understand their project and vision.

Eldense sit 11th on the Segunda Division table.

However, along with a playing contract, it's suggested De Gea is exploring investing in the club. Eldense president Pascual Perez recently revealed he intends to sell his majority stake.
