Kevin Phillips says the Birmingham City locker room wants manager Alex McLeish to sort out his contract.
Phillips gave McLeish a ringing endorsement when he appeared at a media event yesterday.
The 37-year-old former Albion and Villa striker said: "I know every player at the club wants the manager to stay. He's worked miracles here. Everything is in place.
"We all know contracts take a while to sort out and I'm sure he'll get it sorted."
