Palmeiras have offered fullback Luan Candido to Barcelona.

Sport says Palmeiras need to make a major sale and, for this reason, the Brazilian champions have put some of their youngster starlets up for sale.

One of the biggest names they are willing to listen to offers for is Luan. He's a left back, only 18 years of age, is 1.84m tall and is also comfortable slotting into midfield.

Barça are keeping tabs on the situation. Palmeiras' director of football, Alexandre Mattos, has been in Barcelona this week as he travels around Europe. Back in Brazil, it's sparked rumours of a potential meeting about the young left back's situation but those claims have been denied by both sides.

However Palmeiras do hope that their director will return after securing the sale of at least one of their budding promises.
