Nottingham Forest loanee Gustavo Scarpa could be set for a return to Brazil in the January transfer window.
Scarpa is presently at Forest owner Evangelos Marinakis' other club, Olympiacos.
He is set to spend the season there, but SBT in Brazil states that his career may take a different path.
The outlet claims that Scarpa may be ready to move back to his native land at the start of 2024.
He is in line for a return to Palmeiras, where the 29-year-old enjoyed the best years of his career.
Reporter Alvaro Loureiro stated on social media that Flamengo were also interested in Scarpa.
