Palermo president Maurizio Zamparini says he'd love to sign Mario Balotelli - if he could be sure of his attitude.

Liverpool are desperate to find a buyer for the former Italy international, but Zamparini says they won't be competing.

"Technically, the guy is not in doubt," began Zampa.

"But what kind of desire and drive might have a guy who currently earns five or six million a year to come to Palermo?

"I cannot solve the problems Balotelli currently has."
