Crystal Palace co-chairman Steve Parish has hailed the quality of Scott Dann.

Parish says he hasn't see a better centre-half at Palace since Rangers legend Craig Moore.

"I haven't seen a better centre-back. Probably the only one at Palace who would challenge him is Craig Moore, so he's as good as I've seen play in that position," Parish said, discussing Dann's England chances.

"Scott has impressed me no end and he's very good in the dressing room as well, one of the positive leaders at the club and believes we can win every game.

"You can't make that up. You can say it but if you don't really believe it - if you haven't got that inner strength - like Mile, Punch and Damo, they do.

"That's invaluable, those kind of leaders."
