Crystal Palace co-owner Steve Parish has admitted his admiration for Cardiff City defender Steven Caulker.
Palace have been linked with an £8million move for Cardiff captain Caulker.
"There are lots of players out there which why wouldn't you be interested in?" Parish told the South London Press. "Caulker is a top, top player and the fact that we're being linked is flattering.
"But it is going to be a long summer. The manager is at the World Cup and we've had a few conversations. As usual we'll be driving everybody mad by making the deals that are right for the football club.
"I'd love to answer on Twitter what is going on but it is not always possible - you've got to keep confidences."
