O'Shea remaining in charge of Republic of Ireland

John O'Shea is remaining in charge of the Republic of Ireland.

At first O'Shea was to only manage two friendlies in March, but now he will be in charge for June. Ireland will meet Hungary and Portugal in two friendlies.

The Irish Examiner says Janne Andersson, who quit as Swedish national coach at the end of the autumn, is in the running for the job.

Former Manchester United defender O'Shea, 42, most recently worked as an assistant coach at Birmingham City, leaving in January.
