Nottingham Forest star Sangare grateful to 2 teammates for helping him settle

Nottingham Forest star Ibrahim Sangare has shared the advice he is getting from Willy Boly and Serge Aurier.

Sangare joined the club in the summer and immediately bonded with his fellow Ivory Coast stars.

His deadline day move from PSV Eindhoven is one that impressed fans, but the 25-year-old knows he must shine on the field to justify the transfer.

“I'm very, very happy to be here amongst an excellent group of teammates," he told the club's official website.

“We're progressing very well together, we've gelled nicely. I think they're a great group of guys and it's all been very positive. I've not really had too much of an opportunity to see Nottingham as a city, but what I have seen I really like, it's a cool place to live.

“We're all in it together, but of course I have Willy Boly and Serge Aurier who I listen to and learn a lot from. They're like older brothers to me and I listen to all of their advice."

On his hopes for the rest of the season, he added: “My ambition on a personal level is to continue to settle into the game and develop that cohesion.

"Collectively as a team, our focus is on progressing and improving our performances throughout the season and looking to head up the table well into the top half."
