Nottingham Forest are in talks for AS Monaco attacker Gelson Martins.

L'Equipe says Martins is a step away from signing for Forest.

Forest have made significant progress in negotiations over the transfer of the 28-year-old Portugal international this winter market.

Martins has been playing for Monaco since January 2019.

However, the winger hasn't appeared on the field for Monaco in the 2023/24 season.
