Norwich City had to move quickly to land former Nottingham Forest goalkeeper Lee Camp.

The Pink 'Un says Norwich beat Mick McCarthy's Ipswich Town for Camp.

"It was touch and go with regards coming to Ipswich," said a source close to Camp.

"Mick McCarthy was absolutely brilliant when Lee spoke to him, but in the end Norwich came in and the chance to go to the Premier League was too good an opportunity to turn down."
