Norwich City are eyeing Burnley defender Ben Gibson.
The Sun reports the Canaries are keen to bolster their defensive options with the addition of the 27-year-old but face competition from Championship rivals Middlesbrough for his services.
Gibson joined Burnley for a club-record fee believed to be around £15million but has made just six appearances for the Clarets since his arrival with his only outing this term coming in the 3-1 Carabao Cup defeat to Sunderland in August.
Burnley are willing to cut their losses on the fee they spent on Gibson, according to reports last month.
Middlesbrough. Want Ben Gibson back from Burnley but only on loan. Norwich also interested. Burnley would go for Worrall at Forest if raise funds. Sheff U also keen on Worrall. — Alan Nixon (@reluctantnicko) August 9, 2020
