Norwich City goalkeeper Tim Krul says he will always love Newcastle United.
The Dutchman 11 years at St. James' Park before joining the Canaries in 2017.
Krul told the Chronicle: "I had a bad injury and Rafa came in.
"He wanted to get his own goalkeeper.
"I probably would have still been at Newcastle now had it not been for that.
"I have never shied away from the fact I love the place and I always will.
"Again, though, I have moved on and found an amazing club here at Norwich.
"It is similar to Newcastle in the way people are friendly and desperate to help you.
"I fell on my feet and I'm lucky to find this club.
"To get back to the Prem has been hard graft as it's been three or four years. I am really proud."
