Norwich City boss Daniel Farke admits Manchester United deserved their 4-0 win.
The Reds' attackers enjoyed themselves in the Premier League clash, with Marcus Rashford scoring twice on his 200th appearance for the club. Anthony Martial netted a superb header and substitute Mason Greenwood came on to add his name to the scoresheet.
Speaking to canaries.co.uk after the game, Farke said: “We have to accept the loss because the better side won the game, without any doubt.
“Even in the first-half, Manchester United dominated the game and were the better side. We were not that accurate in our passing and our possession.
“From the start, it was a really difficult game for us. We still had the chance to stay in the game, we had some chances close to the half-time whistle, the best of them from Todd Cantwell when the goalkeeper [David De Gea] was there with a top class save.
“When you're just 1-0 down, you're still in the game and you still have a chance to come back. But the game defining moment was when we conceded so quick after the half-time whistle.
“It was an unnecessary penalty and also a crossing situation when we were five against one in our own six-yard box.
“To be 3-0 back against arguably the best counter attacking side in this league is, of course, very tough."
