Liverpool fullback Trent Alexander-Arnold was hammered by Reds hero John Arne Riise for his role in their Champions League defeat to Real Madrid last night.
Alexander-Arnold struggled on the night, making an error for one of Real's three goals and also finding himself constantly under pressure on his team's right flank.
"Horrible. I almost put more blame on Alexander-Arnold. He must get narrower," Riise remarked, regarding Real's opening goal. "Junior error."
Fellow former Norway international Erik Huseklepp said: "Trent Alexander-Arnold had a very weak match. He was involved in one setback and struggled with positioning, as he often does. He is far from the level we have seen him at before."
Jan-Aage Fjortoft also stated: "Alexander-Arnold has had a terrible first-half."
Real Madrid finished the first-leg of last night's quarterfinal 3-1 ahead.
