West Ham United captain Kevin Nolan has apologised for his red card in defeat to Liverpool.
The London Evening Standard says West Ham skipper Nolan, together with co-chairman David Gold and boss Sam Allardyce, were answering questions at a fans' forum on Tuesday night at Upton Park.
Nolan also admitted he had been "ashamed" by his red card and told the 400-plus supporters at the forum that he would be in training yesterday while the rest of the first team squad were granted a day off.
