The Nigerian FA have played down talk of an approach to Roberto Mancini.
The former Inter Milan boss has expressed interest in taking charge of an African team, with Nigeria mentioned as a prospect.
Idah Peterside, an FA spokesman, insists no-one from the Federation has been in contact with Mancini.
