Nico Williams has signed a new contract with Athletic Bilbao.

The Spain attacker has penned terms to 2027.

Williams said, “I am very happy to be here in Bilbao, to be able to continue with mine, in this great family like Athletic.

"I have to thank all my colleagues for giving me this opportunity. I have been here since I was eleven years old. It has been a very long road from the lower categories, I don't want to forget all the coaches who have worked with me either.

"They have helped me be what I am today. I am very happy and I have to continue working.

"Hopefully this year the objectives we have set will be achieved and we will enter Europe."
