Nice's new goalkeeper Kasper Schmeichel has not been impressing in his new surroundings.

The ex-Leicester City star moved to the Ligue 1 side after 11 years with the Foxes in England.

According to RMC Sport, he has not made a great first impression, with the 35-year-old frustrating his new club.

They are not happy that he turned up to pre-season with a high body fat percentage.

It is also claimed that his entourage went above the manager's head to ensure he started their season opener against Toulouse.

However, coach Lucien Favre stuck by his choice to play Marcin Bulka instead.

Schmeichel is also not adhering to squad rules, such as arriving to meetings on-time.
