Newcastle reviving plans for Man Utd midfielder McTominay

Newcastle United are ready to go back in for a Manchester United midfielder in January.

The Magpies are set to reignite their interest in Scotland international Scott McTominay.

Per The Athletic, Eddie Howe's team have created a shortlist of targets, should Sandro Tonali receive a lengthy ban.

The Italian is set for a TEN MONTH absence from the sport due to betting violations in Italy.

With Tonali ruled out for the rest of the term, the Magpies will chase midfield cover.

They will go after McTominay or Fulham's Joao Palhinha, with either player set to cost a mega fee.
