While improving manager Eddie Howe's defensive options is priority number one, consideration is being given to signing a top striker.

According to The Sun, Manchester United outcast Anthony Martial is interesting Newcastle.

They may be willing to pay a £6million loan fee to secure Martial for the rest of this season.
