Newcastle United are considering a move for Chelsea defender Marcos Alonso.
The left-back was out of favour earlier this season, but reclaimed his spot under Frank Lampard.
But he is still surplus to requirements for next season as the Blues target Ben Chilwell or Nicolas Tagliafico.
90min says Newcastle would be an interesting prospect for the 29-year-old, as their impending takeover means they could offer a huge wage.
Alonso has three years left on his deal and would cost £25 million.
The player may prefer a move to Spain, but it is unclear if any club has shown an interest in him at that price.
