Newcastle have told Sky Sports News that they are not interested in signing Metz striker Diafra Sakho. The 24-year-old has been heavily linked with a move to St James' Park but the club deny they are poised to complete a deal.
Sakho impressed last season in Ligue 2, scoring 20 goals in 37 games, as Metz earned promotion and could be available for around £2m.
