Newcastle United boss Alan Pardew is pleased with the preseason form of young duo Adam Armstrong and Rolando Aarons.
Both will be involved in the game with Wellington Phoenix on Saturday.
And Pardew told the media in Dunedin: "In the last friendly against Oldham they didn't show up so well.
"But against Sydney they all did well. I was really pleased that Armstrong got a fantastic goal.
"He obviously won the European Championships with England Under-17s so it was nice to see his quality.
"It was a good night for us.
"We had a great crowd too."
