Manchester United's new-look U18 team kicked off the season with a 2-1 win over Blackburn Rovers.
Joe Hugill, an arrival from Sunderland, scored both of United's goals.
Along with the striker, Logan Pye, Isaac Hansen-Aaroen and Radek Vitek all made full debuts for United.
On the bench, former Real Madrid wing-back Alvaro Fernandes saw out the game.
Skipper on the day for United was Slovakian midfielder Martin Svidersky.
