New Juventus coach Sarri talks Ronaldo, Napoli 'traitor' claims

New Juventus coach Maurizio Sarri is looking forward to working with Cristiano Ronaldo next season.

Sarri was presented to local media this morning at Juventus stadium.

He said, "I trained good players, some very good at Chelsea and now I take a step forward, it's the top in the world, it's a great emotion.

"He's a boy who has broken almost all the records and I would like him to beat more with me. I'd like to be able to have an influence on one of those. If I'm going to visit him on vacation? I'll talk to him now with the club, we'll see."

Sarri was also asked about past tension with Juve fans.

"My first thought in those years was to beat the Bianconeri, it was my moral and professional duty, but that adventure is over, what I did living that rivalry, as I did with excessive ways, but if you have a rival that you want to beat you can 'hate' them, but also appreciate them."

And on being branded a traitor by Napoli players, Sarri shrugged it off.

"There are players who said things in public, but sometimes they say things to live with an environment, I respected everyone because I always worked giving 110%, more than that I cannot do.

"Napoli had not won for 30 years and we felt we could finally get there, it could not be but the trip was wonderful. "
