New Celta Vigo president Marian Mourino says Rafa Benitez's job is safe.

Celta are currently struggling in the relegation zone.

Mourino stated at her presentation media conference today: “Total confidence that Rafa can turn the situation around.

"He has total confidence, a committed squad, they have shown us this and they have been able to compete against great teams, like Barça or Atlético. We have the right coach to reverse this situation.

"Confidence is complete until the end of the season, when we will achieve permanence. There is no plan B. He has a three-year contract and there is an exit window in the second year."
