New Bayern Munich coach Thomas Tuchel is planning to return to Chelsea to strengthen his newly-inherited squad.

Tuchel was named Bayern coach on Friday after the dismissal of Julian Nagelsmann.

Football.London says he already has two of his former Chelsea players on the agenda for the summer market.

Goalkeeper Edouard Mendy, who is available from the Blues, is a target, along with midfielder Mateo Kovacic.

Both players are now wanted by Tuchel at Bayern and there is a confidence Chelsea won't stand in their way.
