Napoli are closing on a deal for Inter Milan striker Mauro Icardi.
At the Lega meeting this afternoon, Napoli president Aurelio De Laurentiis will meet with Inter director Giuseppe Marotta to thrash out terms for Icardi.
Il Mattino says the prospect of Arek Milik moving to Inter in exchange has been discarded.
Instead, a cash deal is now being discussed, though for the moment a difference of €20m exists.
For personal terms, Napoli have offered €7m-a-year, while Icardi's agent and wife Wanda Nara is seeking €8m-a-year.
There is hope on both sides that a breakthrough can be reached today at the Lega offices.
