Alejandro Bedoya is not expected to be sidelined for a lengthy amount of time despite sustaining an injury on the weekend.
The 27-year old USA international suffered a heavy knock to his hips in Nantes' 2-1 win at Lorient in France's Ligue 1 on Saturday but has revealed that he will not miss any matches as the French top flight gets set for their winter break.
"I took a knee to my hip going up for a header and it gave me a bad hip pointer," Bedoya told MLSsoccer.com. "I tried to keep playing, but once I came in for halftime, it got cold.
"I tried to play in second half, but couldn't continue running normal or jump from the pain. I should be good to go after this break."
Bedoya has made 15 league appearances, scoring once for Nantes, who currently sit seventh on France's top flight table.
