The president of Namibia has expressed his sadness at Liverpool's demise this season.
On the eve of a crucial Champions League round of 16 second-leg clash with RB Leipzig, Namibian president Hage Geingob has declared the Reds as a team "are dying".
The big Liverpool supporter posted to social media: "We the supporters of Liverpool have been walking alone for a while now.
"Sadly, we are becoming orphans because our team is dying."
Liverpool sit in eighth place, a full 22 points behind leader Man City and seven points behind Chelsea in fourth, after 28 games.
Despite any chance of winning the league having disappeared while hopes of a top four finish also hang by a thread, the Reds are still competing in the Champions League.
