Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho is certain that Colombian striker Radamel Falcao will soon be back to his best and power the Blues' title defence next season.
Mourinho is excited by arrival of Falcao from Monaco and having spoken to defenders John Terry and Gary Cahill has became certain of signing the Colombian despite his lack of goals whilst on loan at Manchester United last season.
Mourinho said: "I spoke with John and Cahill a lot about him and we think the bright movement (for Falcao) is there, the movement to get freedom in the box to score goals is there.
"Our players had difficulty to control him and we feel the potential is there.
"Let's see if he can improve his confidence, his happiness. We believe that now he has already played a season in the Premier League, he could be a different player."
Falcao is unlikely to feature too heavily during pre-season after competing in the Copa America with Colombia, but should be fit and ready for the start of the new season.
