Former Spain coach Robert Moreno is being linked with Valencia.
Moreno, available after dismissal from AS Monaco, is being mentioned as a replacement for Javi Gracia at Los Che.
Also amongst the candidates are Granada boss Diego Martinez and Getafe's Jose Bordalas.
Gracia is expected to see out the season, with his sacking to cost the club €500,000 should they axe him now.
Moreno's chances of landing the post are strong as Valencia owner Peter Lim is close to ASM counterpart Dmitri Rybolovlev, who speaks highly of the former Spain coach, despite parting ways earlier this season, reports SER Valencia.
