Monza midfielder Andrea Colpani has dedicated his first Italy call to the club's late president Silvio Berlusconi.
Colpani was selected after he scored in the weekend draw with Torino.
He said, "An enormous emotion and an objective that I had set for myself before the start of the championship. It's a starting point, I want to maintain this level.
"I dedicate this to President Berlusconi.
"I want to confirm this call-up and further improve Monza's numbers to help achieve our set objectives."
On comparisons with Jude Bellingham, he added: "A comparison that makes me happy, but Bellingham is Bellingham, I aim to improve and do well with Monza and if I can lend a hand to the national team."
