AS Monaco midfielder Denis Zakaria admits his time with Chelsea and Juventus left him frustrated.
Zakaria struggled at Juve and Chelsea, where he spent last season on-loan from the Bianconeri.
"I didn't find it easy, but it was also the period in which I learned the most in my career," he told RMC. "After living through a similar period you realise that you can't take anything for granted and the only thing you can do is work to stay where you are.
"Now I'm giving everything I have to put that moment behind me because it's very complicated for a player.
"When you have few options, even being physically ready is not easy. Furthermore, on a mental level you would like to play and you can't. It was also frustrating because the team wasn't doing well."
